According to Crucial’s site, this computer should max out 1GB. Both of the slots do work. The system beeps with more than 1GB installed I just recieved the correct memory from Crucial today. Go into your bios by either hitting the Del key or F2 during boot up of the pc. Sorry about that I guess the internet doesn’t always have the correct answer: I would rethink that it was the only thing that got wet. In your bios, it is called Removable Media, start your computer and press F10 or another key depending on your system setup , go to the boot sequence tab and move “media” to the top.
